Tra Vinh Authentic Vietnamese Noodles

I've been hearing great reviews about this Vietnmese Restaurant in Quezon City but wasn't able to try it sooner because it is far. Luckily, a friend suggested this resto when we visites her house. Food taste ok but not that exceptional. It even took some time before our meal was served even if it is way past lunch hour and there are about three other diners. The staff are nice though.

It is okay.. service by the waiter is very good. She was very kind and responsive to our request. Somehow, the soup i ate have small cockroach inside, when we told her, she apologizing and change to new right away. Service is very good. The only bad thing was why there have to be cockroach, means not pay attention enough while cooking. Kitchen might be need serious attention. The beef combination soup taste really good and i like it. But i keep thinking about might be have another cockroach at my soup, made me cautious in every sip of my soup. Lol.

Good food and plentiful too! The Tra Vinh Special Noodle Soup was a feast. Fresh Spring Rolls were full to the mouth and Pork Fried Spring Rolls were savory. The staff who attended to us was nice too. She explained the menu quite well

The large bowl was quite expensive, nearly P500. The large Tra Vinh special only contained one shrimp, a few pieces of beef, and one fish ball. There wasn't much in it, but it was enough to fill me up. Overall, I found it to be overpriced. It's well-known that Vietnamese cuisine is associated with healthy foods, as the soup had no fat.

The coffee was good, although there was a mix-up with our orders. I had requested a regular-strength coffee, while my friend ordered a strong one. The waiter mistakenly switched our drinks, which we only realized after my friend poured his into a glass with ice and took a sip. The service was lacking, even though there were only a few customers in the restaurant. We weren’t offered any water, and while the place had air conditioning, it didn’t seem to be functioning well—though there was a fan available. Would I consider giving this restaurant another try? Probably, but I would be careful to order different dishes and, of course, the coffee.
