Came to the Mother's Day. After waiting for 40 minutes, they sat on a table in the flur directly at the emergency exit.
Great spot for fresh seafood straight from the tank, but the prices are quite steep.
However, there is one downside: they charge a 30% fee for cooking fresh seafood, which I believe is quite high. I could easily go to other restaurants that charge a similar price per pound without any cooking fees. On a positive note, they offer validated parking and have a private lot, which is a rarity in Flushing, let alone Queens.
This is a great spot for seafood lovers. If you enjoy picking your own fish, crab, and lobster, this is the place to be. Be sure to visit on the weekend; we've tried going during the week a few times and the taste just isn’t the same. The chef on weekends seems to be better, likely because they're busier. They do offer a private room, which is nice, but the restrooms could use some serious cleaning. Prices are reasonable, though not the best, and I would recommend against ordering takeout, as they charge extra for that. If you're dining with a large group, make sure to put down a deposit, as they’ll even throw in a few extra bucks for you.
