Subway - Québec

You can find large sandwiches at this restaurant, but you'll need to enjoy them somewhere else as there is no seating available. Luckily, there are parking options nearby. Don't forget to grab a cold drink to accompany your meal.

Subway is very popular in this area of Canada, although I'm not sure why. We decided to grab a quick bite there before heading out of town for a hike. The teenagers working behind the counter had enough English to take our order, but they were unfamiliar with the term "Provolone." We later discovered that at a different Subway location in a food court in Montreal, they also didn't recognize the word. Could it be that Subways in Canada don't offer this type of cheese? Despite this small confusion, the sandwich tasted just like any other sub we've had. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick.

This restaurant is well-known among Americans and my 14-year-old grandson insisted on having food that was familiar to him. The meal met his expectations.

There is no smile on their faces, and they laughed at a customer on his face because of the choices he made in his sandwich, and the worst is that this customer left without his change, there was about $4 (they just give... They invoices in change and the change automatically comes out of a pot and they did not mention it to the costumer) ... the employee not even looking for him ... she put the change in the tip potping. There are many good restaurants in the area that are in the same offer price and offer a better service and food!!!

OK so you can definitely get an inexpensive sandwich at Subway. But... it's the same inexpensive sandwich you can get almost anywhere else. If you live here, fine, take advantage of reasonably decent food at low prices. If you're visiting, why are you even reading...this? Go try one of hundreds of great québecois restaurants in the same area. Should you get desperate, you can always Google the closest McDonalds!
