Restaurant Louis-Hebert - Québec

The food at this charming restaurant located on a street filled with dining options was excellent. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fantastic steak, while we also indulged in lobster and leek soups and a unique blueberry pie that was more reminiscent of cake. My penne with smoked salmon was satisfactory, with a tasty light sauce and generous portions of salmon, although the pasta itself was unremarkable. The service was pleasant and relaxed, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Dining outside on a beautiful evening, we had a delightful experience overall.

While it was not the restaurant's fault, I was parked directly in front, just a few meters from the hostess, and still received a parking ticket, despite having paid and displayed the receipt on my dashboard. This unfortunate incident marred our first visit to QC and left us feeling quite dismayed.

Thank you to the chef for being accommodating and preparing a dish for us that was not currently on the menu.

The perfect destination in old Quebec for an amazing meal. The service, the ambience, and most of all the food, were absolutely perfect, and I will plan a trip back to Quebec to get to experience it again.

Food is decent but way overrated when compared to real fine French cuisine; the French onion soup was so so as an example. The area is vibrant and young so that is a plus, beyond that....
