East Side Mario's - Québec

I will not extend my experience to this restaurant. We were in a room for a group of twenty people, but this room resonated so much that I could barely hear the person next to me. According to my table neighbours and my opinion, the food was very ordinary and without real flavor. We will not go back for a good relaxing meal.However, waitresses were friendly, effective and especially fast. They were able to adapt to the situation, because we mentioned, as soon as we arrived at 5 p.m., that we had to go out for 7 p.m. It was “righteous”, but we all found that they did everything they could to achieve the result: hat!

My family and I ate here last week. We chose this place only because I cashed out some Air Miles so the meal was technically free. We ordered pizza with fries. As well, we ordered the all you can eat salad, soup and bread for $10.49. Everything tasted so-so. To be honest, I didn't expect more as I have eaten at this resto (different location) many moons ago and the food then was so-so as well. Basically, it's ``fake`` tasting Italian food. Would I go back? Only if it was ``free``. The waitress was efficient and quick although a smile would have been nice . . .

We were in Quebec City for our summer vacation and looking for a kids friendly place to eat. We picked this place due to preference for vegetarian food for some family members. Glad we did as the place was awesome. The ambiance was outstanding with nice seating arrangement. Our server was great, she saw that we do not understand French so got us English menu and also helped In selecting dishes. Salad was yummy as everyone in the group agreed that it was best house salad, they have eaten in long time. All the dishes were delicious, I ordered Hell's Kitchen chicken and pardon me for repeating it but it was yummiest chicken dish I can remember. Kids wanted to order some desert but our server reminded us that all kids get free ice cream or brownie, so we just got those. Overall great place to eat, will definitely recommend it to everyone!!!

An excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner when you pass through quebec, it is well located near the highways, in a shopping center of suburbs...The food is varied and at good prices... pastries, bread...the service is great and attentive. ideal for family and dinner with friends...to celebrate birthdays.

With a young family, this restaurant is magical. Finally a restaurant where children can be children! For parents, it doesn't have a price. If you want a quiet restaurant with a fierce atmosphere, don't go there. Soup, soft drinks, bread and salad at will! I love it. the dishes are in the average of the chains of this type. We spend good time with a friendly Italian food in a Italo/New York setting. Also I love it.The child menu offers the standard choices (pizza, hamburger, chicken) but there are nice extra options for children. This my daughters love!The service, apart from once, was always very good. waitresses don’t spend their time coming to see us and often take a quick look at us in the passage to see if we don’t miss anything. I like discretion. I love the location and I was never disappointed by this restaurant. It's an ideal choice of Friday night with a family when it doesn't try to cook at home.
