Restaurante Carla - Quarteira

I have been here loads of times every year.I love there food always have pepper steak.my daughter eats omelettes. they have a great menu and will look after your needs.its a family business.price is very good beer. wine very cheap of course higher price than...shops thats in every country as with cans of minerals..ive always felt welcome here .and i look forward to going back.

I have used this restaurant many times and the food here is excellent, although you will wait a while for your food it will be worth the wait as all the food is cooked to order, no frozen or precooked nonsense here. Carla is one...of the only remain traditional restaurant's left in Quartiera, you find it at the top of the old town,left at the BP roundabout.

Great food, great staff and all we could eat and drink for £15. It's not the most obviously good restaurant from the outside but it comes highly recommended from myself and my family. I had the mixed grill, which was veal and pork on a skewer for 10 euros, served with chips. A bottle of house red wine was 8 euros. It's not somewhere you need to dress up to go to. Nice and casual.

We've been eating here on trips to the Algarve for the best part of 30 years and Carla has been consistently excellent the whole time. Sometimes we visit other restaurants in the area and mostly realise we should have just gone to Carla.It isn't the place for you if you want upmarket ambience, food and service, but if you want well-cooked, tasty and good value food every time, you cannot beat it.

It was clear that we weren't the only people who chose to return to Carla's - the owners seemed to know everybody! The menu was varied and very reasonable - we loved the sardines, mixed grill 'on a stick ' and peppered steak. Sangria was deliciously refreshing. Staff were so friendly and attentive, and we always felt relaxed. Hope to go back soon.
