The At Sokyo - Pyrmont

I was at the casino hotel and could have eaten breakfast here. I think their morning menus are the best breakfast menu of all time. very unusual menu. very unique. I love yuzu waffle! please try it! we will never regret it!

Went last night after 5 especially for the tanoshi hour (lucky hour) at the sokyo am star before he could see hamilton in the lyric theatre. they looked down at the bar and were handed over menus that do not contain the tanoshi hour menu. I asked for the tanoshi Hour menu and after a bit around was told by the waiter that the manager had told him that the toanoshi hour was no longer offered! this is despite the menu on their website and say tanoshi hour was from 5 to 7 on weekdays. That's it! we had deliberately not made bookings elsewhere, as the Sokyo website says that bookings for the tanoshi Hour menu are not necessary and since all other restaurants were booked out, which should be a special night (our jubileee), ended away from one of the fast eating places on the star. have they checked the website again today and the tanoshi hour menu is still saying that is available!

The food was fine BUT the staff did not disclose beforehand that they will be charging us with an exorbitant 15% surcharge. This was not stated in their email confirmation either. I have never been to an establishment that has done this before.

Exceptional service. Bartenders have sound knowledge of wine. Overall great experience!

I had a breakfast this morning with my cousin and the food was very beaufiful. Thanks to Jessica who served us very well and for her advice on the food we chose. The dishes were very well presented and tasty, and the service is the best. I will comeback for sure and highly recomment to my friends.
