Obunmee - Pyrmont

Stopped in for a light lunch. I had a lemongrass beef noodle salad and my friend had the pancake. It was a bit of wait due to all the take away orders. I loved mine...my friend said she was missing fresh herbs but enjoyed it too. Very reasonable prices.

Hatte sowohl im Februar als auch Dezember 2016 hier einzukehren. Toller vietnamesischer Kaffee ob heiß oder kalt. Auch das Essen ist empfehlenswert; man sitzt nett auf der Straße.

It's really hard to stuff up breakfast to the extent that Obunmee did this morning. My sourdough 'toast' was warmed bread. The smashed avocado had been heated by being topped with cheese that resembled a melted Kraft single. It probably wasn't a melted Kraft single, but for all the flavour it had, it might as well have been. My side of bacon was burnt, ditto my latte. They did make a nice juice.

An interesting fusion of Vietnamese and Australian cuisines. Has hints of French cooking styles and tastes of Asia. Serving sizes a tad on the small size for Sydney. Staff pleasant and non intrusive. Has potential to develop.
