Meridian Cafe - Puyallup

We chose to sit in a booth for the comfort of our group, but the only available booth still needed to be cleared. Despite this, we were happy to wait. Unfortunately, the server walked past us and greeted other customers who arrived after us before finally coming to our table. She rudely pointed out that there were other clean tables available. When I explained that we preferred a booth, she walked away without saying anything else. Feeling disrespected, we decided to leave. I usually don't complain about restaurant service, as I know it can be a tough job, but in this case the staff was clearly rude. This is a rare occurrence for me. We then visited The Rose, where we were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The difference in service was remarkable. We will not be returning to the Meridian Cafe.

My first time here and I will be back soon. We got seated quickly and they brought us a highchair for the baby. We had just the right amount of time to find what we wanted and ordered. The food was ready without much waiting time. It was very good. I got the turkey pesto sandwich with a side salad. All of the workers were very nice and polite. They checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent customer service.

Had an amazing experience here and the food was incredible!! Waitstaff was very kind and food was given to us promptly! Will be back

Ambience and service was good. Got the breakfast burrito, was honestly lacking any flavor. I got the ham but all I could taste was the potato and the tortilla. Pretty dissatisfied with the food.

Food was decent, the booths/tables in the middle are a bit awkward bc you share a table with a divider and the tables aren't steady so one side jostles the other, which is frustrating, and the dividers don't go all the way down so the neibors lower halves and sometimes hands are right there. Also, they did not appear to have AC so it gets stuffy a bit. It's definitely much different from when they had previously been open, but they are much more affordable than other places these days, so def a value. I recommend the breakfast burrito, super good!
