My husband is basque(more Spanish Basque) so we had an idea of what to expect food wise. The food was hearty with rice, beans, and potato dishes. Priced as expected in a tourist area. We found the service quite friendly unlike what I was expecting after the reading of some of the Yelp review. Our server was super friendly even with my lack of the French language. I just showed him my Google translator to help when I ordered or needed an item. He did offer me a wine recommendation to accommodate my basque chicken meal that I did enjoy. My chicken was tender and fell off the bone. I would have liked a bit more meat in my dish. It came with a thigh and a small wing. For the price of 14 EUR, I would have like at least two thigh or a small chicken breast. Food was good not sure if it's something I would go back for. Desserts were a nice closer to the meal. Overall the vibe and service was a 4 star rating but food wise I would give it a 3.
