We stayed up the hill from this loncheria and ate there almost daily. The fresh orange juice alone is worth a visit. The meals are very tasty, with large portions and low prices. It is a busy place popular with the locals for takeout or to eat in.
This Family operated restaurant has great service, good food, and terrific prices! All Family members are friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend this establishment to experience the true Mexican atmosphere.
I was doing some exploring looking for Mung Beans to make bean sprouts. I went on a bit of a wild goose chase. But wonderful things happen when you explore the many streets of Vallarta. I was making my way back to the Malecon when I happened upon Loncheria Sebastian. Its on the corner of Hwy 200 and Argentina. My spanish is limited so I went into the kitchen to see what the special of the day was. The chef held up a pollo cutlet. I nodded ok and sat down to a great meal. Starting off with Caldo de pollo then the cutlet with rice salad and of course corn tortillas freshly made and steaming hot. This was all washed down with Agua di Dias. Which was Guyaba and so good. Guyaba is guava. One of the most memorable meals of the trip.
Always love a local loncheria where Tortas (sandwiches) along with other staples are cheap and plentiful. Just got take out and wolfed down our sandwiches a second time. Late breakfast so had egg, ham, cheese and all the toppings those being lettuce tomatoes onions and extra jalapeños. Huge buns too not the small Portuguese style. 76pesos for the both and left her the change from a 100 as a tip. Can the beat for cheap eats. A few tables to in in at one side but huge take seats business. Lots of juices smoothies being picked up too. On the corner of Argentina and Columbia just behind the north end church 2 blocks up from the end of the Malecon
