The Grill At 1951 - Pt. Charlotte

Jeremy was an outstanding server. The meal was excellent.

A party of six went to celebrate a birthday. We were seated promptly on arriving and found a birthday themed Mylar balloon on one of our chairs. Our waitress, Yvonne, took our drink orders and spent several minutes clearly explaining the various specials menus and answering questions on entrees from the main menu. Found her to be knowledgeable, professional and extremely attentive without being intrusive. All that despite her telling us she had only been there about five months when we questioned her. Three of us ordered off the FreeBee menu and were very satisfied with the items received. The gentleman who ordered the Bourbon Sirloin special said it was grilled perfectly and tasted wonderful but wished it was bigger. Still, he said it was an excellent value. I had the Veal Marsala off the regular menu. The taste was over the top and the portion size was huge. Ended up with half the pasta and one full piece of veal coming home for another meal. The veal was not very tender but wasn't rubbery or hard, just like maybe it got overdone. Tasted great so I never mentioned it to Yvonne. Been here before and found it difficult to carry on a conversation due to the live jazz. Tony Boffa and crew were great and not so loud we had to yell to be heard. We did, however, request to be seated away from the stage which definitely helped. Somewhat surprised that the place wasn't that full but it was a Tuesday night and rainy weather was forecast. It rained heavily during dinner and when we left. Overall a very nice evening and looking forward to a return visit soon. We will call ahead for a reservation and be sure to ask for Yvonne as our server!

Great meal and service, took two hours to get our dinners. Problem in the kitchen but manager brought a bottle of wine to our table as a good faith gesture. Our server Marina was terrific.

Zach was our server. He was attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were wonderful, everything was delicious.

I love the tablecloths, cloth napkins and perfect water glasses! Zach is the most amazing server, so attentive, and really cares that you have a great meal! The food is delicious, delivered hot and plentiful! Great place for date night or lunch! Wheelchair accessibility: Nice easy ramp and plenty of space between tables, if not the staff will make sure you can get to your table!
