Quality ihop experience. the server megan was very nice and helpful! eating was good, just like what they would expect from an ihop

IHOP (acronym for International House of Pancakes) is a multinational pancake house restaurant chain that specializes in American breakfast foods. It is owned by Dine Brands Global--a company formed after IHOP 's purchase of Applebee 's, with 99% of the restaurants run by independent franchisees. The company has 1,841 locations in the Americas, the Middle East and South Asia. Recently, they decided to focus on burgers and be known as a burger place in addition to being a pancake restaurant. It all started around June 2018, when an IHOP marketing campaign announced they would flip their name to IHOb ; it was ultimately revealed to be a marketing campaign for its hamburgers, in an effort to address perceptions that IHOP was still primarily oriented towards breakfast food. The tease of the campaign led to speculation via social media regarding the intent of the change. IHOP parodied the campaign the following year to promote a new hamburger that includes a pancake as an ingredient, jokingly stating that they would refer to their burgers as pancakes because people wanted IHOP to stick to pancakes . Being open 24 hours, it 's an easy destination for anyone at any time. The food is average, but the menu is pretty large and varied.

This IHOP states that it's open 24 hrs. I went with a party of 6 around 10pm to eat. There was approximately 2 tables in the whole place occupied and the server came to us and told us that she would sit us in a minute. She then proceeded to go sit at a table close to the kitchen and ignored us standing by the host desk for 5 minutes. Another employee eventually approached us and went to check with that same waitress where to sit us. After talking with her he came back and told us that there was an hour wait. An hour wait and absolutely no one was in the place. When leaving we saw that waitress and other employees outside talking and listening to music by the side door. Don't say that you're open 24 hrs if you're not willing to let people eat after 9 pm. Very disappointed how we were treated by the rude wait staff!

One employee thought it was a good idea to have his dog in the dining area. No hostess was seating people. My group waited over an hour. After seeing the dog being pranced around we chose not to eat there. I didn’t see any leaders in this establishment and will not be back.

Our greeter had the most genuine wonderful smile attitude, I felt happy just sitting at my table. Service was prompt, waiter was great, attentive but not intrusive. Food was exactly as ordered and delicious. Even sitting right behind a table with a screaming infant and a toddler who kicked the back of my booth the entire time, I still left with a smile.
