I was please to find that my vegan queen with vegan meat had a lot of taste and the portions were reasonable. I ordered a side of rice, black beans and guacamole that all came together for a phenomenal eating. I appreciate that my To-go bag contained both green and red hot sauce without having to ask for it.
Adorable and authentic taqueria! We had the providence vegan restaurant week 3 course special: taquitos Dorados filled with potato and vegan chorizo with a side of coconut cream and salsa, Mexican style poblano zucchini w/ pan seared tofu, vegan Mexican rice pudding, and a vegan horchata. We will definitely be back!
I will go back to try other vegan options on the menu.
This place is sooo good. I went during vegan restaurant week and had the specials but also ordered off their regular menu. All delicious. They even have a vegan rice pudding for dessert
I would give this place five stars if I could but happy cow won't let me give more than four because they are not fully vegetarian or vegan. This place has the best Mexican food in Providence and Rhode Island that I found. They have authentic mexican tacos, burritos, gorditas, nachos, plantains, beer and other fun drinks. The staff is extremely nice and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. They have a full vegan menu alongside the non vegan menu and are super knowledgeable about the vegan menu items. I went with my wife on a Saturday night and there was a short 10 minute wait for a table. This place is clearly very popular. It was worth the wait. I can't wait to go back!
