Billy Ray's Restaurant - Prestonsburg

Great food. Good service. Very accommodating. Good atmosphere.

It was okay. On arrival it was a seat. We had a party of 7 and all the bigger tables were dirty. We tried to get someone's attention, but everyone was busy. Finally, after a few minutes someone started cleaning on the tables, so we packed them. Our server was nice and made our orders right. I ordered the meat leaf, especially on the day. Unfortunately, there was a large part that was crusty basech burned to eat. My brat potatoes were good, but they were prefabricated, like domestic frits, not real roast potatoes. My uncle got the seafood plate and it was also done over / cross. Some of us ordered maize bread, but got roles without explanation. I have a piece of chocolate cake to go... it was okay. Would give another attempt in hopes that they might have only had a bad day!

Husband had country fried steak with white engraving above, potatoes with brown engraving and macaroni and cheese. I had salmon paws, fried potatoes and soup beans with corn bread. We met with our PICK from RESTAURANTs as well as never.

Billy Rays is a nice little restaurant located in downtown PrestonsburgIt has a neat atmosphere, great food, & the best coffee I've had in town.

My wife and I were traveling through Eastern Kentucky on vacation and made Prestonsburg our starting point for our side-trips.
