Mahi Mike's - Prattville

I still have a lot of places to check in Prattville and pretty much everything I travel. I always consider several factors or categories such as customer service as the first factor. Something I noticed last year and is a half an assessment center in Prattville that customer service is missing in so many companies here. I hate going into a business or a facility and being treated horribly by employees or even owners. I have come to feel that entrepreneurs and people in this area are justified. Not all, but most do and I hate that. I don't go back to a place when the customer service is bad, even if the food is amazing. It's so easy to be nice to people why. But for the first time since I started checking places, I was blown away from mahi mikes in any category or you can imagine. Let me say first, the food was amazing! I went here when this place was the Wharf and the seafood was on average. I didn't care about the Wharf shoots and her lemonade always had the worst taste. But today I ordered the crabcakes, cheeses, hush puppies, with their comeback sauce, which is just a cool name for Remoulade sauce) but was the best sauce I ever had. Your lemonade was also great and this is a plus for me because I love lemonade. I'm not a big fan of Hush puppies, but usually don't eat them because I can't stand how dry they are. But the Hush puppies here were so good and not dry in the middle. I also tried the mahi mahi tacos my friend ordered and man they were so good. I also take into account the cleanliness of a company when I evaluate it. As far as this goes, it was a clean place. When we were almost ready to eat, the manager comes to our table to see how our meal was and was very friendly. Her name was Terry and she asked us if we liked Brussels shoots, and of course we both said no because I'm sorry Brussels shoots are rough. But she asked us if she could do something for us so that we can, of course, try them in the house and we will not give them a free meal. A few minutes later she comes back with some not so beautiful looking Brussels shoots. But we tried them and for something I swore because my aunt made them for me when I was 16 years old, I had a completely new look at these stinking little spits. They were so salty and crispy. They were sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and I thought honestly, I didn't eat Brussels sprouts. Also the good customer service has not started or ended with the manager Terry. There was a cashier who took our order and brought our food and refilled our drinks. Her name is Lisa and she did a great job. She was a beautiful, nice and sweet young woman and she was also honest. I asked her about the lemonade because I was afraid that I went back to the Wharf with bad lemonade, only the name was different now. Lisa was honest and told me that it was something for her taste to disguise and that she watered it down when she drinks it. But she allowed me to try it before I decided to get it and it was perfect for me. Well, the reason I'm explaining how I'm checking places at the beginning of this review is because I'm usually decent reviews and detailed explanations why I'm reviewing a place a certain way. But I never run into a place and give them 5 stars and a great review like this at my first visit. I did it with this place, although they are new and I believe that people have the same thought processes as I did before they go there. Make sure you go to the Wharf only with another name on the building and menus. I've never been so impressed with a restaurant like today. So would I recommend this place? Yeah, yeah, I'll go back to try more food. I love seafood, but it is hard to find it here and actually taste good or have good service and good prices.

Literally the best tasteful food I have eaten in a restaurant in a long time. The service was wonderful and they also have great days. I must have the comeback sauce! Bought extra to take home!! I have shrimps!!

Good food, I had the fried shrimps, plentiful shrimps. Daily specials seemed like good deals. The floors were sticky and color come apart from this problem beautiful place.

First timer and it pretty good but a little pricey on some things. I had the shrimp and grits. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but was pretty good. I’ll go back to try more items from the menu.

Had tasty Brussels spits (good for those who do not like, brittle sprouts), creamy cheeses, decent hush puppies, and delicate, flakey fried puppies. No misses. Just good food! Recommended.
