I discovered this place today and decided to try their dried tomato with hummus vegan sandwich. Usually it is difficult to get a good service as a vegan in a non-veg bistro, but the personal was extremely friendly, courteous and honest. Not only was I shown exactly how my sandwich was made, but I was also introduced to all other vegan items on the menu. not to mention the sandwich was delicious: creamy and hearty filling with a perfect combination of black olives, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes on a bed of arugula. I will definitely come back to try the other elements on their menu! I would give it five stars if it was possible, but non-veg restaurants can only get a maximum rating of 4 stars so that they get the top rating from me.
While bread gap has heartbreaking only a few vegan options, these options are quite phenomenal. 1. hummus: this is my opinion after the best hummus ever. the best hummus I ever had. if they are in prag, it is certainly the minimum effort it needs to get bg only for their hummus. just fabulous! the hard pita brot they offer next to the hummus is not for me, although they have some for an additional price. 2. a vegan sandwich: artichoke hearts, dried tomatoes, hummus, salat, brot without crust. this is a delicious but very rich sandwich. I wish they had more choice of vegan sandwiches. 3. salat: whatever vegan salat bg has in offer it is certainly not her average salat and come in a cut above the rest. Also here they seem to offer only a vegan salat. 4. soy milk: bg makes brilliant coffee so that they have soy milk just fantastic! I love a soy latte by bg! so, bg can not many vegan options, but the ones they have are wonderful. the coffee and hummus are by far the best. Now only if they could get rid of this hard pita and offer with the hummus some fresh bread or rolls. even some fresh vegetables would be enough. I recommend visiting bread gap again and again. Maybe with more vegan paragliding they would increase the vegan selection.
So glad to find this place and get a protein that was not another plate of roasted cheese! one day I had a fresh and delicious vegan sandwich with hummus, tomato, greens and olives, another day I came back and had an salad with garbanzo beans and fresh vegetables with a delicious dressing. they had available different materials every time I was there, but there were always at least a few vegetarian options and in the regular at least one vegan option. the staff was very friendly and the food was fresh and good. this place was quickly taken to my lunch when I was in this neighboring place. I am from berkeley and I can say that you eat is not much different than what they could find in a caffe in berkeley, just a little less expensive (at least according to American standards) with the lack of atmosphere and standard tariff I can not give it 5 stars, but I can say that this place is a welcome oasis of fresh in a desert of pasta and cheese is best for my!
The latte with almond milk was delicious, but I was disappointed to find that they were out of the highly recommended vegan sandwiches.
