It is open seasonally and has your usual assortment of soft serve and hard ice cream. I love peanut butter topping on my Sundays and there's is very tasty. It can take a little time at the beginning of the summer for them to get into their groove. Stick to ordering off the menu as I have found, when you try to customize your order, the pricing gets a little inconsistent.
Ice cream itself was pretty good! Cons: Doggy dishes are alarmingly small compared to other ice cream shops. They are served in the equivalent of what you would get a side of a condiment in at a restaurant. I was handed the doggy dish first and unfortunately it took even longer than usual to make my sundae, in turn leading to the doggy dish melting everywhere (as the cup is so small and the temps were high . It’s worth noting it might be best to make the desserts that take the longest, first. Otherwise, a cute little shop and I would stop again when in the area :
Good downtown location, great ice cream, popular place!
My favorite place to stop for ice cream with the family.
My kids demanded I drive across NY from Vermont on our way home to Ottawa to stop at Scoops for waffle cones with strawberry and chocolate. They loved it! Happy kids makes for an easy drive. They were also kind enough to verify that the hard ice cream at the time has no carageenan, so no headaches for me, awesome!
