First and foremost, these owners/operators keep this place CLEAN. Secondly, the kitchen isn't hidden; they actually cook the food right in front of you all day. Third, the selection is amazing for the space inside the store. Coffee, soda crackers, spices, exotic fruits and vegetables, home-recipe meals, imported drinks, candies and confections and more all under one roof.

What happened to your TAMALES? I been buying here over 50 years . The last two times I came to get tamales they were too thick, tasteless and DRY. I had to throw them away. I hate to say it, but need to find a new tamale store. Breaks my heart. They use to be so good, what happened?

Love the rice other foods! I can never find flan they have it it was the best flan I've ever had!
