Rob 's USED to be the best place in the area for fish-and-chips. Sadly, that is no longer the case. I had been going there for years to get their All you can eat fish, chips chowder . Then they stopped offering it. I decided to give them a chance once more recently and was very disappointed. Now a basket of fish with a small handful of fries is $20 and you don 't even get chowder with it. They even charge extra for cocktail sauce. The fish USED to be thicker and served hot. What we got was thin filets served warm with warm fries. You never went to Rob 's for the atmosphere it 's where you went to get great fish and chips or cigarettes (yes it 's a cigarette store too). This time it 's cramped dining area had dirty tables that I had to clean myself. The staff there are friendly enough and they don 't get paid enough to listen to complaints about the management of the business. I left the first time because they changed how they do business. I gave them a second chance and I won 't be going back, which saddens me, because they used to be so much better. For $20 I can get better quality, service and atmosphere at a sit down restaurant. Parking: Parking is limited and somewhat dangerous due to the busy intersection and parking spaces being very close to the street making it more difficult to enter and exit the spaces. Best to park at the local gas station and walk.
