We order an entrance and a dish the dish arrives we forgot the entries, it starts well. I had ordered beef cheek I started cutting with my knife and there I feel something abnormal, my dish was frozen not cold I said frozen well...I return my plate in the kitchen and the waiter hardly justified himself. on the other side my wife's wolf back was barely cooked. I've been told a new plate, it was immeasurable! It's like a parmentier hatch too salty with little tips of bone and cartilage that I was going out of my mouth every two seconds, amazing for beef cheek. Excededed we left the restaurant in full food. My wife didn't finish her fish I didn't eat my dish, we didn't drink our bottle of wine we didn't drink our bottle of water and when we asked for the check we had the kindness to offer my dish. my wife who doesn't like the scandals has had to settle the bill.see photo of my attached dish
Very pleasant setting, fine table arts. I am offered to take the aperitif around the pool, I prefer to table to see the map of the wines, we forget for the wine card at the end of 20 minutes (the server I would not name) this report by lighting the candles and immediately brings us the card.I order a rosé champagne, we wait about 45 minutes for having the entrance, the waiter will drop us the tickets but we have always In short too many mistakes for a tariff claim, correct kitchen in the whole even if the st st st st net is not very copied but the price is reasonable 33€.Amusing simplistic mouths. The setting is very pleasant but the meal is disappointing being giving the "gastronomic" rate practised. we had two different lamb dishes but the presentation and accompaniment was identical in both plates. It's rare for a high-end restaurant. the entries were good but the desserts were like a good bistro. Chocolate marrow with clementine heart and floating island. Certainly the chocolate was very good but no imagination in the presentation. If you make chocolate marrows at home and ben it's the same and if you make floating islands it's the same! I don't remember the desert price, but it was between 15 and 20 euros. total rating 190 to 2 with a bottle to 50 for bistro is not given. (I took the menu at 52 and the rest was on the map.)for the staff, we were well received but as the team's lack of professionalism got felt. The in-room and kitchen team seems young and unexperienced. a lot of little worries all along and a team in kitchen not very discreet. ( remarks, fixing customers etc...)For me, there is an experienced team at this magnificent relay and castle establishment to make it an excellent table.
The chef and his team have enjoyed us for 3 days with their imaginative gourmet cuisine and full of flavours.
For a relay and castle we found the dinner rather average.So yes well on the dishes remain refined and well presented but at the level of taste, nothing exceptional.
