Last summer, we had multiple meals at this small restaurant, located close to our apartment. It was run by a Nepalese family. It had opened recently. So, our experiences were mixed in terms of service, but the food was always good (except for the Chilli Paneer, avoid! . The restaurant at that time was still struggling to put together its service staff (it was usually run by one person , so it was understandable. The main dining area is upstairs and hence, we had to wait for everything. But the staff was polite and receptive to our requests. The cuisine offered was a mix of Nepalese, Indian, Indian Chinese (very close to Calcutta Chinese food . Since we had multiple meals, here I would list down what we really liked. They have excellent Samosas and Masala Chai, so great start to the mornings (they open around 9 30 10 am . Everything else on the Menu that was close to Indian was good. The Chow Mein was also good. The only regrettable experience was asking the Chef to make one of our Veggie Chow Mein spicy (and it burned us down completely . The one avoidable item as I mentioned earlier, was Chilli paneer, as the Paneer was too hard and fried. The prices were reasonable.for such taste. The portions are not too large.
Happened to visit this small indian Nepali restaurant . The location of the restaurant is very close to trinidad metro , Porto. Spicy level can be adjusted as per your taste. Roti was soft. Chicken biriyani is Must try. Really delicious Indian food. But be ready to wait. You may need to wait a lot till someone shows up. But food is worth the wait
Made a last minute decision to stop in. Was a little hesitant when we read the previous reviews but were pleasantly pleased with the freshness and taste of the food. Samosa’s were very good as was the butter chicken. Good size portions.
Your dish curry (8-10 euros) has no sides dishes included, (no bread or rice) and on top of this the lamb curry was as hard as a rock. The dinner lounge is upstairs and anything you need you just have to wait until the waiter shows up. Seriously avoid this place.
