Mulhall's - Portlaoise

Great place for breakfast a vast menu. My kids go for the pancakes and rave about them. I have the scrambled eggs and coffee always good. very friendly staff.

Had lunch with my family in Mulhalls Restaurant and the food was really excellent. We had the chicken curry with rice, boiled ham with potatoes and veg, a panini and the children had crepes with nutella afterwards, from start to finish everything was fantastic. The...tables/seating and the premises was very clean and felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend to everyone and we will definitely be back again very soon.

Recently visited mullhalls for brekkie. Just after I asked for poached eggs on white toast my friend had the scrambelled eggs. Bit horrified to see a large bowl of overcooked scrambelled eggs on the counter full of water. .we sat down the food came...soon after. My eggs were on brown bread not white like i asked . But didnt mind to much as my friend said brown was healthier. If tje scrambelled eggs had bern made fresh i would have given higher. So only average .

I just needed to replenish my ‘sugar surge’ so I popped into Mulhalls today and enjoyed a simple Americano and Chocolate Bar! The restaurant was exceedingly busy with lunch finishing up and afternoon tea commencing. As with all my visits to this restaurant the ambience,...friendly staff and courteous and supportive approach to their responsibility to customers keeps me returning regularly. Thanks again and I will continue to visit at all times of the days Monday to Saturday inclusive.

Mulhall's Restaurant is the piece de resistance' for anyone wanting a piece of Old Ireland in Food from the Full Irish Breakfasts through to Afternoon Teas and a plethora of in-be-tweens from gorgeous confectionery, teas, coffees, desserts and a most helpful, friendly staff with excellent...value and a window view out on the square!
