I dropped in for a quick meal and found that the restaurant was closed to dine-in customers due to COVID, but the drive-through was still operating. It was quite busy, yet the line moved smoothly. The person who took my order and handed me my food was amazing; their cheerful demeanor made me smile! Their kindness and enthusiasm really stood out – what a gift! Overall, my order was both correct and tasty!
I ordered a Diet Coke with my meal, but this Taco Bell was out of ice. I was a bit taken aback since I had a 20-minute drive home. The employee offered to set my drink out on the ledge, which I politely declined. However, when I reached the window, I found my drink sitting there in the cold. The employee reassured me, saying, "Don’t worry about it; I didn’t charge you," which was really nice of her. As I reached for my drink to place it in my cup holder, I discovered it was already full of ice—half a cup from the last Taco Bell I had visited! I showed her, saying, "Hey, I've got ice!" She couldn't help but laugh and hung her head in amusement.
The drive-thru was well organized, and the staff addressed my questions promptly. I asked about their closing time, which is either 11:00 PM or 12:00 AM. I also noted that I find chicken quesadillas to be overpriced and that including a tortilla as one of the layers in a five-layer burrito isn't ideal. These concerns brought my rating down to three stars, but the friendly interaction I had with the employee at the window raised it back up to four stars.
