Rose City Book Pub - Portland

This is my favorite place to go and write. cozy, small wrench vibes, community-oriented space and I love being surrounded by books. it is quirky to be sure, but in a very charming wise. it is also quiet enough to actually have a conversation, that is something I try to find in Portland's bustling cafe/bar scene. I always get the hummus plate because it is a perfect snack. the hummus is really good, tastes homemade. the book collection is eclectic and fun to penetrate. the one thing I don't love is that the three times I was, the radio is what plays overhead, and the constant shows are quite annoying when trying to read or write. to the happiness it is not too loud and it does not stop me. I hope they change sometime.

I love Book Pub! Such a beautiful, welcoming, cozy atmosphere and a variety of options to read. Elise is one of the most beautiful people in the world and is a monumental figure for my friends and I haven't been too long since moving to Portland.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing. The feeling of a locally beloved and operated business is such a wonderful place to gather. The only thing was that we went for Trivia and it was very busy and loud. If you're planning to go for Trivia, get there very early! But the place was nice and I can't wait back.

Wednesday Nights are always fun with Elise?s Trivia Night? Meet people, make a team and we always have a great time. A real low-key nerdy, fun hangout with great staff and good food. Try the Pork Shoulder with flash fried Brussel Sprouts. It?s a winner. And the chocolate pudding is amazing!!
