There's actually another bluefin that I originally wanted to try, and it's on Broadway as well, but Google Maps took us to the closest one. So if you are looking, make sure you are going to the right one. Anyways even though it wasn't the one I wanted to try out it actually ended up being really good. They had a lot of items that other sushi bars don't really offer. It's a quiet and small spot. Server was really nice. They do have a special baord so check it out. We got a variety of things and we got a couple of the tuna specials. My husband really like the monkfish liver, he says not a lot of sushi places offer that. We really enjoyed everything we ordered.
Back again after not eating here for awhile. As always beautiful food, beautifully presented. Room is comfy, service is great and the food comes up fast. I love sushi and this place does a great job could actually eat here at least once a week. Not going to wait so long before our next visit.
Bluefin Sushi Bar- not to be confused with the other one is our go-to for sushi. Love the fresh hand rolls Alaskan Philadelphia rolls. Really good sake the owner is the sweetest. Don't forgot to take your punchcard! Small outside seating area too.
I had a delicious and enjoyable dinner at Bluefin Sushi Bar tonight. The owner was very nice and hospitable. I had a rainbow roll, miso soup, and some super fresh Japanese uni. The restaurant itself is very clean and comfortable.
I LOVE SUSHI. Moving from hawaii to Oregon, I feared I wouldn't get quality fish anywhere because of the fact that I lived on a beautiful island where fresh fish was caught daily. This is walking distance from my apartment which was a SCORE. Parking: street, it's a crowded neighborhood so it may be difficult to find a spot. Venue: intimate. About 12 group seats and a bar area. Food: the quality of the fish was okay. When asked what fishes were previously frozen, and they said that their fish was fresh catch, but you can taste that the ahi was frozen beforehand. We enjoy toro pieces because it's much fatty and melts in your mouth like butter. So we usually get the salmon toro and blue fin toro. The kamikaze roll is DELICIOUS. And a must try. The dragon roll is also delicious but I would take the kamikaze roll over that because of the spicyness. We've tried their hamachi and unagi nigiris as well. I recommend this place if you don't mind spending more for quality fish.
