Old School Pizzeria - Port Royal

I’ve tried many of the top pizza spots in the area, and Old School definitely stands out as one of the best! It offers a wonderfully authentic New York-style pizza experience. The crust is perfectly crisp, the tomato sauce is high quality, and there's a generous amount of cheese. Considering this is South Carolina, you really can’t ask for more! The woman managing the restaurant was very friendly during my visit, and she mentioned that the business has been around for about 18 years.

It would be great if the dining room were open, especially with the heat index reaching 110 degrees, but the food is outstanding. I had the meat lovers calzone, which was more than enough for two people. Considering the quality and portion size, $11 is an incredible bargain. I will definitely return!

The pizza was fantastic! It was wonderful to be able to purchase it by the slice, which the kids really enjoyed. My only complaint is that I wish they were open more often.

When you see their neon sign lit: screech your vehicle into the parking spot. Closest place I’ve found here to flat, fold-in-half, shove the pie in your face-hungry, Staten Island Ferry step off-style pizza I’ve found around here. Nice folks, pizza and salad within 15 mins.

I've tried most of the pizza places in town, and hands down, I would say Old School Pizzeria has the best pizza here in Beaufort. The inside has a cute, classic interior and the owners are friendly! Its located in Port Royal and luckily I live pretty close to it.
