Very demanding narrow track. Very friendly staff. A real pleasure to play.

Played this morning at the Black River Country Club. Was in 2 heads due to the negative public in the past. It found it completely wrong as many other things on social media these days. The course is in good shape, the greens were excellent and the carts were n = much better that some other places in the area. For the current price of $42 you cannot beat this place. Wish to do it again so that the restaurant will be opened again!

I'm not really one to write a review unless a place is really bad. However, I felt obliged to write this five-star rating for the golf course. I'm playing here every two years, and I have to say I never had a problem with the golf course. I am a sticker for good green and was impressed by the way this rolled. I am a member of Torrey Pines in San Diego, so I think a golf course is high standards. If you play here, you won't be disappointed. Some of the holes are a bit longer, also from the white teas, and it is a good challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Nice golf course, wooded, a little water. Ladies, not much of a break from the trees. Very confusing layout, was not always sure where the next tea boxes were, the maintenance workers asked for directions. Very friendly staff and cheap prices. Play another round at Black River CC next time in Port Huron.
