Last night i got a take out order for me and my daughter and she opened it up and found a hair(looked like an eye lash) on top of her roll. Needless to say she didn't eat it and it was thrown in the trash. You guys need to check your food better. We'll also start going elsewhere.
I came as a single person into Yokozuna at 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. I waited about 10 minutes before someone seated me I was pushed to the side of the restaurant and given two menus. About 5 minutes later the man who seated me came back with a glass of water. Nothing was said to me. Finally after sitting there patiently waiting to order for about 20 minutes a woman comes up and takes my order. Chicken yakosoba and a California roll, nothing fancy. I 'm starving by now and still no food and this other man comes up and asks if I had been helped. I said really? I ordered food over 35 minutes ago and I have been sitting here for an hour!! He said so sorry and I said I 'm out!! I am never going back there again! What absolute **** service!!!
Thoroughly disappointed in the level of customer service presented to regular customers. I have been to Yokozna many times in the past for their lunch and it has always been a good experience until this. We arrived at 4:25 pm, the place was completely empty. We brought our extended family (from the US) in as I very much enjoyed the service before amd thought they would provide us with the same level of service. I was unfortunately greeted with the server telling me they are unable to serve us, because of our group size. There were 3 large tables available (no customers other than us) and reservations were not until 5:30. How are you able to call yourself if you cant accommodate a table when you have zero customers in for another hour. We asked to sit at a 6 table seat that had no reservation and asked if they could provide us with another seat but they flat-out said no. Reason? They couldnt pass the food into the table. We could easily have done that for them in order to be seated there. The entire time our family attempted to find seats and justify it being ok, I had become so fed up I decided to take my families business elsewhere. I will never step a foot onto this establishment again after the clear disregard of our time and efforts. So unbelievably disappointed in something that I thought was great enough I could share with my family.
Really good, quick service and kind, attentive staff. Yokozna is a wonderful space with delicious food.
Not a good customer service. Waited 5 minutes to be seated when it was quiet and not many people were at the restaurant. It took another 15 minutes to get the food.. for combo C and 5 pieces tempura it costed $20 The taste was normal, the atmosphere is normal but clean and many specious. They served a complimentary desert as well. Two pieces of tempura-like ice cream
