Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Port Arthur

Very nice culinary experience. As soon as we went in, I was impressed by the atmosphere in the restaurant. Very clean and organized. We were led to our seat and our server (January) was very polite and friendly. Our drinks and appetizers were served immediately and the food came great. I ordered the steak and it was a good steak at all accounts. Several times during the visit we had to check servers for us to make sure everything is okay so we never had to ask ourselves where our server went. All in all, a wonderful evening.

I went to Texas. And so I visited many restaurants of many different types of cuisine. And usually the food is either okay or one or two parts of the meal is pretty good and the rest is not all that big. But tonight I ate in Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Port Arthur, Tx. And I had the best meal I had in a very great time! I had the Sirloin and half the ribs with the beans and rice and a loaded baked potato. Not only the steak cooked medium, exactly medium, as I asked. But everything was absolutely delicious! The server was very attentive and did a wonderful job! I would definitely recommend eating here and I will definitely be back! Thanks for exceeding all expectations Cheddar's, and then some!

Very friendly service, food was excellent. Dessert was more than enough for two! We couldn't even finish it, but it was very delicious!

My friends and I enjoyed late lunch and dinner. Our server, Michael was friendly and attentive. My meal, Dijon Senf Chicken with mushrooms was delicious. I asked for grilled broccoli instead of steamed as a side, it was great! My friend, her side of potatoes with engraving was served cold, like my baby carrots. I don't know why the servers still have to wear a mask, it makes it harder to hear them talking about the music or the usual restaurant noise. I gave 4 stars because the sides were served cold.

Cheddar's is a smart choice for good food at reasonable prices. This location is no different. Fast friendly service and rarely a long wait even for larger parties. It is nice to find a place that will accommodate parties of 10 to 20 people, with a smile.
