Mi Patio - Ponchatoula

One of my favorite Mexican restaraunts in Ponchatula. They have awesome Taco Tuesday deals with .99cent tacos. They also do specific menus and specials during holidays (including mardi gras and valentines day)! Pictured are Taquitos because why not have an appetizer for dinner. And who doesn't love a fried tortilla stuffed with chicken, dipped in queso, served with lettuce, guacamole, pico, and sour cream for only $8.50!

2nd time here both times were very much impressive! Fresh chips salsa. My taco salad from here has to be hands down the best I've had. The staff is excellent prices are just as excellent.

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant and last night I drove half an hour just to eat here for my birthday and it was absolutely terrible. The cheese dip was hard, the beans and rice had clearly been sitting under a heat light for a VERY long time and the fish tacos were pretty much cabbage with a pound of Baja sauce on top. The quality has gone waaaay down, it's really sad. Will not ever be eating at this place again.

If you're ever in Ponchatoula and in the craving for some good Mexican food. This is the place to go. I love sitting out on the patio and listening to the waterfall from the fountain. My only issue is that if it is not busy and hardly anyone is sitting out on the patio, your server might forget your out there from time to time. Otherwise, the food is good and full of flavor. I had the enchiladas supreme and my wife had the chicken polo. Both were very good. A word of advice, if you want beans and rice then it will come separately and you have to pay separately for it as well and you will get a heaping scoop of beans and rice. If you eat a late dinner, you can always finish up and hit the bar next door for some drinks and music.

Great little find! We were traveling and looking for lunch in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. We searched out the place next door and it was closed so we decided to try Mi Patio and we're not disappointed, the people were friendly and service was fast, food was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the kids said it was so good it made them dance.
