The situation was not the best, as there was a terrible storm approaching when we arrived. However, the situation was handled quickly and very well. We had the Antipasto della casa for starters, which was a lot more plentiful then the menu might have led you to believe. The primi piatti with Spaghetti Vongole and homemade Gnocchi with butter and sage were both absolute comfort food and kept the mood on a high. We finished with the grilled Gamberetti, which tasted fresh and were nicely seasoned. They were a bit overcooked, but only due to the fact, that we took a bit long with our first course as the portions were generous. Everything was rounded off with an incredible espresso. Last time I had an espresso this nice in Italy was years ago in Pompeii. The house wine was soothing and refreshing with only 2.50 a glass. We will never skip this place as long as we plan to stay at the southern part of Lago di Garda. A must visit if you want to have authentic Italian cuisine accompanied by kind staff members.
