A la Bonne Heure - Poitiers

This is a buffet style restaurant where you can choose as much from the starters and deserts. The salads are lovely and there are sometimes sliced fried potatoes and plenty of bread. You receive a ticket for the main course and can have as much veg and potatoes as you want. The desert table is huge and there is so much choice. There is free filtered water and plenty of bread with the salad bar. It’s vert good value and definitely worth a visit.

Met with very helpful staff from the onset. It's a pay first then help yourself to a starter off a well stocked salad counter...then present your ticket to pick up your main course, I had the fish, Merlin a cod like in texture and taste, my wife had the 1/4 chicken and we helped ourselves to our veg. It was all well cooked and this followed with a trip to the very ample desert selection. Accompanied by a 1/2 bottle of rose and a coffee, this all cost €30 for the 2 of us. I am surprised at some other negative comments as I only saw apparently happy customers enjoying a no frills but very pleasant quality meal.

Good restaurant in general but still lacks variety on the entrances. The staff is friendly.

During a holiday break, we were brought to eat in this place. Very disappointing meals. This is not because the price is not very hoous that customers should eat also mediocly. Don't stop there, especially.
