We had two galettes, two crepes, and a bottle of cider for ~€55 (and we had the most expensive galettes and crepes on the menu.) Highly recommended!
If you are lucky to seat outside to enjoy a very nice sea view with a nice Breton pan cake then go. But if you are unlucky and really dying for a pan cake then it won't taste the same
We had a lovely lunch here during our holiday in Brittany, definitely my favourite spot during our 2 week visit. There was a good choice of galettes and crepes and I had one of each! The service was lovely, the lady who served us spoke sufficient English for us to get our questions answered. There was a microwave to heat our baby's food, high chairs for both children in our group and books to entertain them. The location of the creperie is just lovely, looking out over the nice beach at La Palus. Would love to visit again!
Maybe we were asking too much ... end of the season (late September) and a Sunday evening. We passed by on the lunchtime and decided to book a table on the basis of the specials board outside, and the lovely bistro style of the place. Turned up in the evening, and we were handed the printed menu listing all kinds of galettes/crepes and some other stuff. The chalkboard proudly displayed tonight's specials and we each chose something that sounded lovely. Waiter arrived, both our choices were 'off'. Then why not rub them off the board? Chose two more ... they were 'off' too. Turning into Fawlty Towers this! Eventually had the galettes, and to be fair they were fine, but overal the experience was disappointing. Waiter seemed to have had a long season and couldn't wait for the winter shutdown and his holiday I reckon - miserable bloke!
Lovely building, shame about the food. The restaurant felt dirty and we were besieged by flies and dead flying ants on the plate. There didn't seem to be any effort to use anti-pest techniques. The galettes were poor (a mushroom one which was supposed to have a sauce but was basically fried mushrooms, and a seafood one which was not pleasant, either overcooked or frozen). We were struggling to get fork to mouth without a fly settling. It was so bad we left without crepes (pudding). No vegetarian choice on the menu and when we asked for them to replace the meat in one with cheese we were told that this would annoy the chef.
