Happy Lemon - Pleasant Hill

Boba was good but 25% sugar was a bit too sweet to my liking.

Always pretty solid and now they serve bubble waffles! Service is always pretty friendly and drinks are usually really good. We tried the Oreo bubble waffle with salted cheese and it was a really good pairing.The waffle comes super hot and is chewy and has crunchy end pieces. The matcha latte with tiramisu salted cheese and the black tea with salted cheese are always classic drinks but you can't go wrong with anything else :

Quick and courteous service but not many positives other than that.The floors were dirty, and the interior of the shop was uncomfortably warm. They don't seem to have the AC on AT ALL. I feel for the employees who have to work in there and bear the heat for hours, which is the main reason I'm writing this review. Fix the AC or turn it on, I'm not asking that it be icy cold in there by any means, but at least set the temperature on the thermostat to make the space more comfortable for everyone. I saw many of the customers fanning themselves and/or commenting on how hot it was in there. They ended up turning on a huge industrial size fan at the back of the hallway, which didn’t really help since it was just the same hot air being blown around.Also, every other location I've ever been to serves waffles with boba pearls inside it, mixed with the batter upon request, but apparently not this location. I double-checked with the cashier when they said they didn't do that, and the only option was for me to have it in a cup on the side, at which point I declined and dropped the issue.Just an uncomfortable and disappointing experience overall.

Delicious! My favorite is the grapefruit lemon slushy! Would definitely recommend.

Great service. My favorite is the green tea with cream cheese. It's a must-have. Highly recommend!
