Sushi Sakana - Plano

Well I just got home from having dinner here. We have been looking for a good sushi place since the first one we liked changed owners and went down hill, Kula was good and stopped serving my favorite kinds of sushi. We found this on a google search and decided to give a try. We started with california crab. Its a basic roll that is a good first impression of the skill and quality. In most places I am let down. I was stunned by the flavor of a such a simple roll. I was in momentary shock that this roll was that good. Immediately I became filled with the anticipation of the other rolls we ordered: Crunchy roll, Supershrimpy, and I went with 2 tiger rolls. All I can say is i want more. The flavor in rolls are beyond anything in Plano to date. It's like having sushi made by a master that cares about the infusion of qualify ingredients and then prepared with a desire to treat your taste buds to a symphony of amazing. And then I had the tiger rolls... They were not what I expected but that became a pleasant surprise. They were warm as they were fried. I guess I didnt read. I do not even care. These were so good they were gone before I realized it. I just don't know what to say. This is the best sushi in Plano. If you have better, or think you have had good sushi, I dare you to come here and leave unhappy. My expectations were beyond met. I cannot express in words how amazing this place is. I will not be eating sushi anywhere else. Also found out grubhub delivers. This might be a bad thing for my wallet

This place is amazing! Just about everything on the menu is awesome. I’ve been coming here for years and the owner always comes over and shakes my hand, asks about my family and wants to ensure we are enjoying our food!!! They will even make some things for me off menu!! Great environment for everyone as well as great food!!

The sushi as Sakana is simply the best! The ingredients are fresh and put together in the most delicious ways! I go at least once a week!!!

I travel to Plano for work and always stop here, it's my favorite place!! Get the Tuna tower, the Louisiana roll and the dancing fire!!

Best sushi place ever!!! We have been going for years and won't go to any other sushi place! Must try you won't be disappointed!!!
