Jin Korean Bbq Plano

Moreso 3.5 but I rounded up. Same setup as previous KBBQ, Jin. Perhaps a rebrand?My experience overall was solid. Just a few things to note as follows:The self serve meats: not sure how I felt seeing meats in a bowl, on top of ice, under a heat lamp. Only thing I tried from this area was the pork belly, since it was still frozen. Other meats, I skippedA la carte from menu: I felt at ease seeing the meats arrive from the kitchen and that the meats were still cold. Taste was fine after cooking. Nothing bad. Recommend the beef belly, pork jowl and galbi.Ice cream area: self serve freezer but seeing the scoop sit in a small tin of non flowing water and it being foamy, I skipped out on.Overall: service was good. Our two servers were friendly and quick to change out the grills. 6/10, inexpensive worth a try.

We love this place! There are so many things that could go wrong with a raw buffet and this place just does it right. I've been here twice and both times everything has been super clean, super cold, and super fresh. The service is good, everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. They encourage parents to supervise their children which is a plus.Parking: Great parking

First-time customer, and I had a really great experience. The buffet items were delicious and fresh. Hot items were hot and the cold items were cold. The selection of meats on the buffet were high quality.Our group was worried about the $20 charge for leftover food, but our server explained this only applies to the premium meats asked for off the menu provided. They are included in the price, but obviously be mindful when ordering. The fan favorite was the short-ribs.The server was really friendly. They were prompt to change our hot plates and provide refills.I will definitely be visiting again.

Very solid bang-for-your buck KBBQ. Dinner pricing is $26.99/person. Meats were overall fair quality and seasoned well, although 1 plate of meat tasted sour. They have several options to pick from the menu, but they also have more marinated meats and seafood at the self-service bar area. Our waiters were attentive and changed our grill regularly.I actually enjoyed the side dishes a lot, perhaps even more so than the meat. The Tteokbokki and Japchae in particular were pretty good.
