Fresh Mex Express - Placerville

The dining experience at this restaurant is wonderful as long as you dine in. We have tried ordering online three times and each time our order was incorrect or missing items. It seems that something always goes wrong when ordering online. If you go in person, the food is delicious and your order will be perfect.

I lived near this restaurant in Placerville for 10 years. Finally, I decided to give it a try for lunch. I would not recommend it. I called ahead to ask if the chicken dish was made with white meat, and was told yes, but it turned out to be brown chicken. I also requested avocado instead of guacamole in my order, but they still gave me guacamole and charged me for it. To top it off, there was a hair in my food. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I usually give a restaurant a chance if it's highly recommended, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time. I placed an order online and received an email saying it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, I found out that they hadn't even seen my order because it hadn't been printed out, as I was told. I tried to get more information about my order from the staff but they couldn't give me a definitive time for when it would be ready. My family was left hungry and in a bad mood. I would recommend ordering takeout or avoiding this place altogether. Update: I placed my order at 5:47 pm and didn't receive my food until 6:30 pm.

This has become my go-to restaurant. I couldn't possibly express how much I love the burritos here, the quality and freshness of the food is absolutely beyond satisfactory. When we're not so hungry my bf and I split a burrito, chips and salsa, and a couple of modelos and eat on the patio. It's our weekend ritual at this point. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes amazing food!
