Sammy's Pizzeria - Pittsburgh

I recently moved into this neighborhood and have a love for local, handmade pizzas. I wasn't disappointed by Sammys, and it has become a regular spot for me.

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I tried their pasta special which came with a large portion of pasta and sauce, along with 2 pieces of garlic bread and a garden salad. They also had a happy hour special where appetizers were half off, and possibly drinks as well (although I didn't have any). The interior was small but clean, with a variety of seating options. I appreciated their menu and plan on returning in the future. Overall, it was a great value and I ended up taking home 2 containers of leftovers.

This is my favorite pizza. The sun-dried tomatoes really make it divine! It's very satisfying and I am never disappointed.

A very friendly woman answered the phone. The delivery time to Sharpsburg was very quick during the weeknight dinner. I enjoyed the pizza crust and cheese. The small side of ranch was a nice touch. I also ordered the red velvet dessert which looks delicious. I deducted a star because the mushrooms were not good. I would be willing to pay more for fresh mushrooms. Overall, I will likely order from here again.

This small pizza shop is fantastic. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are fair. On Thursdays, they offer a wide selection of pasta dishes that are both generous and tasty.
