Bigham Tavern - Pittsburgh

For starters, they have the most absolutely disgusting bathroom that I've ever seen, the wings were mediocre at best and extremely overpriced. The cost of wings has gone down and their menu still lists market price and they charge $22/dozen of wings. Hard to believe they have the best wings in Pittsburgh.

I feel like I just sacrificed my sense of hearing for my sense of taste. At 2:30pm on a Sunday, this place had concert level volume. I'm not kidding. I downloaded a sound meter app just to check. This is the first time I have ever left anything because it was too loud. On top of that, it took them well over half an hour to get us our food, as we just sat there with our ears bleeding, headphones and earplugs in out of necessity.

We were visiting Pittsburgh from out of town. Service and food were great, with prices fair for both food and drinks. We sat in the rear of the restaurant and our waitress, Brianna, was outstanding.

My boyfriend and I attempted to dine in here yesterday afternoon. We ended up having to get our food to go because of the noise level. We were sat directly next to a large and very loud group of people. We had a very hard time ordering with our waitress due to not being able to hear each other speak. When I expressed that it was really loud, nothing was done. I had to wear earplugs and my boyfriend luckily had headphones to put in. We had to resort to texting each other to communicate while in the restaurant when we wanted to have a nice meal together. We ate our appetizer and then decided to get the food to go because I was starting to develop a migraine. I am not joking when I say that the noise level peaked at 94 decibles while we were waiting for our food. We left with the rest of our food in boxes feeling dismissed and like we were no longer welcome. This was our second time getting food here and what we ordered was phenomenal, however we are going to think twice about dining in next time.

I know this is NOT everyone’s fault still give them a chance but when I went my Pepsi tasted like syrup and had no bubbles our waitress was taking WAY to many tables at a time but like i said it’s not everyone’s fault
