If you don’t stop at Green Acres on your vacation, you’re really blowing it. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dessert there every day. Kathy the owner is an incredible host, and her staff is awesome. They all make great breakfast sandwiches, and of course you should get a homemade cinnamon bun. They also make delicious carrot cake cupcakes, (pictured), pies and english muffin toasting bread. We love it there!
The cinnamon rolls are delicious. Really big. Two adults can share one. The store opens at 7am, but they don't start serving cinnamon rolls until 9am. You should call at 7am and reserve a cinnamon roll. Or show up and order in person. We did that at 7am, and when we went to pick up our cinnamon rolls at 9:20am, they had already sold out for the day.
Cute little store great food especially the baked goods and cinnamon
Great food! The cinnamon rolls are the item they're known for (plan one roll per two to three people). We also stopped for lunch on the ATVs (you can access from the Pittsburg trail network) and I had a Reuben panini: best sandwich north of the 45th parallel. They also sell shirts and rustic knick knacks.Vegetarian options: A selection of grilled cheeses (with different additions like tomatoes) and salads make sure they can accommodate vegetarians. We have no vegan in our party so less sure about that
