Rifugio Patascoss - PINZOLO

We were on our ski holiday in Madonna di Campiglio and our hotel suggested something a little different out of town up at the Rifugio. Its relatively easy to find on the northside of MdC.e novelty factor is that you’re taken by snowcat to the restaurant, which takes 15mins or so. Best to get there first as its a set start time of 730pm I think. Upon arrival, you’re greeted with a candlelit courtyard, the red carpet and welcoming drinks. The staff are very energetic, positive and engaging – there were 2 ladies in particular who were very attentive and friendly. We were seated over in a quiet corner which suited us well and then the courses started arriving as its a set menu. Luckily we ordered a change in advance for one fussy eater in our group and so he got a dish of his choice. One of the chefs was on hand to walk around and check that everyone was happy with their food and alcohol – that was good to know that they wanted everyone to enjoy the experience. One of our waitresses was lovely and that made the experience more memorable (wish I’d gotten her name). The food was good – not outstanding but very good. The whole experience lasted about 3 hours and it was a late departure and return to cars by the snowcat/snow vehicles. Well worth making a trip up to the restaurant and be engaging with the staff. They made the evening and we made sure to tip them as they really made an effort. They reciprocated by coming out to the front of the restaurant to take the time to talk with us before we returned back to our cars. They didn’t have to, but they did and that was great. We will be back.

Incrocio di sentieri molto frequentato. Cortesia e disponibilità sono di casa da molti anni. Ingredienti genuini e piatti gustosi. Prezzi molto competitivi.

Cena deliziosa con cibo delizioso e ben cucinato, personale veloce e cortese. Le torte fatte in casa sono tutte molto interessanti e poi il conto è adeguato. Bravissimi.

Durante la pausa dalla sciata ho preso un panino con salsiccia e vari condimenti al chiosco esterno, servizio veloce e panino molto buono. Ottimo pranzo veloce.

Posto molto carino presenza di mucche di alpeggio molto caratteristico cibo nella media ottimo l'antipasto e buona la carne
