Cousin Gary's Family - Pilot Mountain

Crab cakes are crab balls minus the crabmeat with all olbay. The turkey open face had paper thin cold turkey on it with a plastic texture to it. The silver dollar pancakes were cold and old apparently from the breakfast buffet. My husband thought his dinner buffet was good. Will not go back from Ohio

Enjoyed the food, especially the strawberry cobbler and banana pudding. The guy serving us was really attentive and brought a smile to everyone.

Wanted some comfort food. Hadn't eaten there in a long time. Looked at buffet as we went in and decided to order from menu. I wish we had just left. The mashed potatoes were gray and the pintos were so thick that a spoon would've stood up in them. I ordered breakfast for dinner. Got bacon, egg, gravy and a biscuit. The egg was really the only edible part. The biscuit was old and hard. The gravy was so thick that a spoon would've stood up in it. The bacon was blah...and how do you mess up bacon??? My stomach hurt until the next day... won't be going back!

The buffet looked like it was a month old and needed to be thrown out. The mashed potatoes looked like cement. The pintos looked like refried beans. Decided to order off menu. I, now, wish we had left before doing so. The hamburger steak was good, fries were fair, slaw should've been thrown away because it was old and rolls were hard. Will never go back.

I enjoyed a large bowl of pinto beans with onions; I wasn’t fond of the side of cornbread but I did enjoy the replacement biscuit that our server brought. Hubby thought his chicken club with bacon, tomato and extra mayo was good. The onion rings were slightly overcooked/greasy. Sweet tea was good/sweet enough but not overly sweet. Our servers were friendly and very attentive. There is a lunch buffet that we didn’t have.
