Standard Tap - Philadelphia

Tried out Standard Tap on a busy Friday night and had an okay experience. We were quickly seated and we got a tour of the large multilevel space on the way to our table. Service was quick and congenial as well. The food is where things came up short. Prices were high on the whole, and the dishes we received were okay at best. Drinks were above average but still not particularly stellar. Average experience overall.

So, I've been here a few times and it used to be good. The food now is just mediocre to just bad. I ordered the fish and chips and I didn't eat any of the fish. I tried one bite and the fish was so overcooked it was mush fried with no flavor. There weren't a lot of people there and the kitchen wasn't busy. Hopefully they do something different because they have so much potential.

I've been a big fan of Standard Tap for a LONG TIME! I lived in No Libs for 10 years and now Fishtown for 5 and this is still one of my favorite spots to grab a burger and a beer. Cheers to Will and the crew for keeping this place consistent for such a long time.Food: 5/5

One of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Northern Liberties/Philly. Locally owned. Local food. Local beer. In addition to an exciting and innovative rotating menu, its employees are incredibly kind, passionate, and knowledgeable of each dish and drink on the menu. My partner and I have been regular customers for over seven years and have enjoyed Sunday brunch, more formal sit-down dinners, casual drinks at the bar, and quick late night bites. Ten out of ten experience every time.

Always looking for neighborhood spots that are quality AND accommodate my one-year old when my husband and I need a night out and have no sitter. They were so accommodating here, staff is always so friendly, drink selection on point and the food is always phenomenal. Highly recommend!!!!Food: 5/5
