ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. like the food tastes like it was shipped straight from mexico best mexican food i’ve EVER had in my life hands down. UPDATE: 2019 not sure what’s going on or if it’s because they’re spending money on renovations like new tables and chairs updated cutlery but the food quality went wayyyyyy down. i’m talking cheap vegetables steamed in a bag down. i recently went there (may 2019) oh man, everything i ordered tasted fake!!! EXTREMELY lack luster no flavor , burnt pieces of what tasted like fake beef, no real quality like the way it used to be. guess i won’t be coming back here smh sad. yes i know the food LOOKS appetizing but the powder cheese and fake rice is NOT what we used to eat. Used to be white rice actual shredded cheese. Disappointing
Seems like a nice neighborhood place, the waitress was friendly and helpful. I had my first torta Cubana, and it was nicely made, chicken cutlets were crispy. the portion was HUGE, I had enough for another whole meal to take home . I'll be back often. old review below, I think the operation has changed a lot in the 2 years since I've been. I've been twice and not been impressed. My second order (a carnitas burrito) had numerous large pieces of cartilage, which made for a pretty disappointing meal. There are better options in the area Also, it's cash only and that isn't well marked. That caught me by surprise my first time there
Every meal I’ve had here has been incredible. A lot of quality food at low/ reasonable prices. Recommend the enchiladas platter and any burrito
Tried this place out as I'm trying to find the best Tacos in the South Philly Mexican Community. Incredible Al Pastor Tacos. I will be back for sure!
The food tasted very fresh and authentic, even down to the chips and salsa. The reason I decided to deduct a star is because they obly accept cash, and there's no ATM. We unfortunately didn't know that ahead of time.
