J Sushi - Philadelphia

Ate at J2 for belated Valentines Day celebration. Overall food was good and portions were generous at a fair price. I will definitely go back in person or order take out. Service was attentive but if the restaurant was at max capacity they might need additional staff to adequately service all the tables . It is a small place and maybe 1/3 full when we were there.

Reasonably priced sushi with interesting special rolls available like wasabi Kobe eel. It’s BUOB so great inexpensive place for a date or girls night out.

Surprises everything you can eat. That was a bargain and the waiting staff really helped us.

Very high quality sushi in casual, BYOB atmosphere. Unique specialties with fish that you normally cannot get in Philly (Baby yellowtail belly, golden eyes snapper, etc). I was even told that you can call a week ahead to get a special fish for your group (ama ebi, sea bream, oceanforout). We will definitely come back.

Fresh, delicious and authentic sushi. Tons of specialty roll options. Definitely a must try sushi spot in Philadelphia. I will definitely be back.
