JW Filmore's Family Restaurant

Here because of the reviews for dinner held on a fresh May evening. This was sown as a "local" hotspot and the crowd seemed to be the part. The host was a child and not very affable, but we don't mind. Our waitress was a professional and got us our food in time. Food was good — this place is not pretentious and offers reliable Diner Grub. All were satisfied with their meals: children Mac n cheese, a quarter of Pounder Burger (with bacon), a French dip and spaghetti with meat sauce. The “Red Chili” was very spicy! This is an affordable safe bet.

Very good food! One of the few places you can get a great breakfast, a great service at a decent price. Your skill is one of the better here! This is a popular breakfast and I enjoyed coming here as I was a child!

We had a great breakfast that was not fat, cooked to order, and tasted so good! The server has made our experience even better! Definitely a place to go when you're in Petoskey.

Great place to eat. Your breakfast was good. Her omelettes and ash-browns are very good. Let a cup of coffee at our table so that we can refill our own coffee. Service was top notch. I didn't even know we were in a pandemic. Nice to have some normality. The owner helped clean tables and gave us at the checkout. It's always nice to see. You know it's important to them when they work there. We'll go back every year. Great job guys!!!!, thank you!!!!

The food was very good. The restaurant was very, very busy. My guess was church rush. Everything was cooked well. I had a short wait, but it's not surprising. They still took my pick up order even though it was mother's day and they were busy. It was appreciated. Will try eating there again.
