Full Moon Pizza - Petoskey

We got takeout from here, a chicken pizza, brie pizza, and 2 margarita pizza. They were all very well cooked and the toppings were not overloaded which is nice.The brie pizza was awesome, with the beets taking front stage.

Whenever we are in Michigan, we always choose Back Lot Beer Garden enjoy delicious pizza from Full Moon Pizza. Tonight, we accidentally ordered the wrong pizza. I am a vegetarian. It was our bad, coming out with pepperoni. Tandem and Dylan went out of their way to make sure I had a vegetarian pizza! You guys are THE very best! Thanks so much friends! We tell everyone about Full Moon always!

Nice spot for drinks and food. Had a 12 pizza, pepperoni, bacon sausage. It was not great. Sauce was thick, like from a Ragu jar. Dough was pre-formed. Not fresh. Woodfire ovens get hot, too hot for pre-shredded cheese so they put cheese on late? Seems undercooked. Meh.

It's decent. The atmosphere is really good, featuring several food trucks in a back parking lot with a tent for shade and tables to sit at. I ordered four pizzas, but unfortunately, the bottoms of all the crusts were burnt, including the breadsticks, which are essentially just a small cheese pizza.

This is definitely the best pizza I've ever had! I ordered the Mahalo and the Five Cheese pizza on a gluten-free crust, and it was incredible. The staff were very friendly and provided the best service I've experienced at the backlot.
