Came by for breakfast this morning. Great value! $13 in total for two full breakfasts including coffee! Nice local meat, and fresh, properly cooked eggs! We'll come back again!
I visited for the first time and ordered the chicken cutlet sandwich. It was huge, much bigger than the bun, but the chicken was over cooked, otherwise it tasted okay with the marinara sauce. Might return for a second try and opinion.
We found the place expensive for what you were given. I was confused as to what the place was. Its called Sandwich Shop but they serve a variety of other food. I wasnt sure if we were suppose to sit down and someone came over or order first.I guess you order and then sit down then they bring you the food. When we went they were out of alot of the items,,,, I didnt find that it had many sandwich options either...
Restaurant, sandwich bar, what is it? So, after some initial awkwardness you figure out that you order food at the front counter and they bring the food to you. The whole experience is a little awkward as the staff person watches you insecurely approach. The food is in plastic take out packaging or cheap eat in utensils. A restaurant identity crisis. The menu is equally confusing and surprisingly limited in sandwich options, ironic given the name. I expected artesian sandwiches made to order, paninis etc. - which isn't what this is. More like your greasy spoon diner with a few sandwiches. So, I had the poutine which was awesome but served in a plastic basket with a sheet of wax paper. Hint: gravy soaks through paper and holes. And my dining partner had fish and chips (frozen processed fish piece). So, you can see, I'm not a fan. Except I'd go back for the poutine and fries which were great. But, maybe the drive- thru next time.
