Country Garden - Peterborough

Where do I start? My family were very dissapointed in every aspect of this place. My birthday was excited to enjoy Chinese together as a family. Chicken wings were all BLOOD! Had to throw them out. The noodles all mush over cooked no consistency garbage. The so called chicken they use had black spots on it that resembled mold. The food clearly was reheated by a microwave. Sesame chicken was rubber and acidic. Egg Rolls half empty over crispy. I called to get refund and was disrespected. This place needs to be shutdown and fined heavily. If I get sick I will sue them. Worst experience, ruined my birthday and no customer service. There excuse we were 5 mins late in pickup! Can you believe it?!? Disgraceful and total garbage. You been warned folks!

It's becoming pretty hard to find very good Asian food ...most "chinese" resteraunt are poor excuses and this one ranks up there with some of the worst I've visited.

Low end chinese food that is extremely greasy. The rice was the only thing what I would call good. My honest opinion is to spend your money elsewhere.

What a dissapointment. I love Chinese and leftover chinese, but the leftovers went into the garbage. Almond soo gai, with no almonds and a so so gravy...and I'm not convinced it was real chicken, it had the look and consistency that you get with preformed nuggets. The coating was flat and tasteless. The egg rolls were tiny, I passed on mine. The rice was soggy and orange coloured, it was special fried rice, but it had very little meat or "special" to it. Tasteless, had to add tons of sauce. The chicken balls looked like shrimp, but yes there was a tiny piece of chicken in that mess. The beef with noodles was pretty good, but the amount of beef was pretty skimpy. I was dissapointed because we had gotten take out from there once before and it was pretty good.

This in my opinion is the best Chinese food in Peterborough. The hot and sour soup is excellent. Service is fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
